Ryder Fleet Management Solutions has appointed Rich Mohr as VP and chief technology officer. Most recently, Rich has been leading Ryder Truck Rental as VP & global product manager.
In this new role, Rich will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Ryder’s new products, electric and autonomous vehicle initiatives, connected fleet strategy, predictive data & analytics for maintenance, as well as COOP By Ryder. COOP, a first-of-its-kind asset-sharing platform for commercial vehicles aims to revolutionize the optimization of all commercial trucks, not just those owned by Ryder, by offering businesses the opportunity to lend and borrow underutilized vehicles within a network of trusted peers.
Rich will also be responsible for the Ryder Mobile Maintenance fleet of fully-equipped vehicles, where Ryder delivers preventative maintenance and warranty work whenever and wherever customer trucks are idle, increasing vehicle uptime and customer satisfaction while decreasing predictable maintenance costs.
